Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator as well as one of the first hosts on The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Her real passion came when she began writing her own show and won an Emmy. Her excellent talk show won the host an Emmy. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. Chen Moonves has also worked at CBS's New York City station WCBS as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Before entering CBS News from 1995 Chen Moonves had been an anchor and reporter for WDTN TV Dayton. In her final semester at college, she was an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). As a desk-assistant to ABC News late night broadcast Nightline she was a part of the team that worked with Ted Koppel. He remains among her top journalists.
